Challenge
Compound Studio had been running for four years on a brand built in a weekend. With a Series A conversation opening, their venture partner asked directly whether the brand matched the ambition of the pitch. It did not.
Solution
Complete Package, chosen because the positioning problem required the strategy workshop before any design began. The session surfaced a core conflict: the studio was trying to speak to two different audiences simultaneously and reaching neither. One positioning decision changed the brief entirely. The visual system followed from there.
